It looks bad, but it's still a shelby I guess. Someone would probably pay 30k for it.

It's not as obvious a scam as the 69 428 CJ Mach 1 that looked in perfect condition for $9000 a couple of weeks ago.

It's a scam. This car was being advertised online a while back. I cant' remember 100% but I think Tango Classics was the place selling it. Asking price was in the $50s. I'm sure the CL ad just left off a zero.

Hey guys...better deal yet! he'll even pay the shipping!

Hello,
and thank you for your interest in my car. The title is clean, and you will receive it along with the car, so you will have no problems whatsoever registering it there. It is a 100% numbers matching car. This car is a great car to start with because even though its rough around the edges its still pretty much never been messed with. All the unique to Shelby parts are still there and all the fiberglass is still original. This car hadn't been driven since 1982 and we changed the fluids and it started right up and ran perfect. I drove it down to the gas station and the transmission even shifted great. The carburetor has been changed out but we have the original and it will go with the car. The drivetrain appears to have never been tampered with and still sports the original Shelby aluminum intake. Radiator, shroud, fan etc all appear to be original and good condition. The exhaust manifolds are the originals and still have the heat stove which is very rare. The rest of the exhaust has been changed to side out. The rear axle shows that it's a posi and it acts like it. The lucas lights are there but need attention. It has the original Heavy duty starter relay and some of the battery cables are still original. This car is one of the late cars that had Magnums on it from new due to problems with the styled wheel, and there's still 2 originals on the front, rears are steel wheels. It has the VERY, VERY RARE heavy duty suspension with wrap around shock towers and big spindles. The car was stored poorly and there are areas that will need to have metal repaired but its very repairable and we can assist in locating the necessary parts.

I have the photos of the car hosted on the internet at the following address:

http://usera.imagecave.com/shelbyadamsl

Check them out, I hope you like them. I also inclued pictures of the Title of the car and other documents, so you see that I AM NOT FOOLING AROUND with this sale. I hope you are serious in your intention for buying, don`t take it personally, but I had many problems with fake buyers in the past. So if you decide on buying the gt, I want the deal closed only through eBay`s Safe Purchase program. You will make the payment to eBay and they will hold the money until you receive the car. After you receive the car and you inspect it, the money will be released to me, in this way we are both protected. Anyway, the car is available and I guess you could be it`s new owner if everything turns out all right and, again, if you are serious about buying. I am located in Toronto, Canada. I have to move to europe in about a month, and unfortunately for me I can not take the car with me there because I can`t register it in europe because it has US emission standards and specs, non compliant with european standards. My final price on it is 5000$. If you will take this price, I am willing to pay for shipping and insurance to your location. Please get back to me A.S.A.P. if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them.
