This is what I've been up to

I bought this a little over a year ago looking like this:



It looks like this now:




What's left:
brake lines, drivelines, recovering the front seats, wiring the TBI and gas lines.

It might not be for everyone, it seats 6 and will be used for camping for the kids. Having a old school soft top made for it so it should be by next week.

Sweet......I picked up a 02' TJ about 1 1/2 yr ago... pretty much my DD from spring till Fall......

do you take it offroad or does it only see asphalt only? I've had 3 jeeps but this one is like a german made... pretty well thought out. It was a complete basket case before I got it.

Oh no...we off road quite a bit....not crazy stuff though....I have enough "fix it" projects!

I hear you there. I had a '73 cj5 that was a tank, but the only problem was it was picky. It only liked my cash, my cc and checks just about every two weeks in fact.
