Congratulations PlaymateMustang

So for this month I chose a new member to showcase his Mustang, primarily because you don't see these type cars often in print or in person. Personally, I have seen only one and it was a convertible. So I hope you all enjoy the story and the pics of this months winner. Mike, feel free to post additional pics and info here as you obtain them.

"I am the fourth owner of the rare 1967 Playboy Edition Mustang. I bought the mustang in 2000 and have owned it since. I love taking it to car shows and featuring it in parades. The mustang has won numerous trophies including: Two Mayor Choice trophies, several People Choice awards, many top 20 awards, along with Best of Show awards.
The 1967 Playboy Mustang is a Parade favorite. The Mustang has been in dozens of parades and we have driven for: The Sno-Cap, a diner in SC that has been operating since 1964. The gift shop, Lasting Impressions, and two banks: Security Federal Bank and Carolina First Bank.
The Mustang was also featured in the Southern Living Magazine and the South Carolina ETV broadcast "Drive Ins and Soda Shops". My Mustang is often requested to be used as a Prop at events and even the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce has the Mustang in a Web site video promoting the downtown businesses. The 1967 Playboy Mustang is always a fixture at the "Cruise Ins" at the Sno-Cap in North Augusta SC. I have enjoyed taking it to shows and driving it nearly daily at times, but it is time for someone else who will enjoy it as much as I do take over. My husband and I are taking a different direction and want to focus on taking our grandchildren camping."
