Don't at all mean to highjack but looks like you have a Sun 404? I'm still using a Sun 500 I've had since late 70's. Nice to see another one still in service.

I converted mine to all solid state several years ago.
amazing that 2 small diodes replaced a 6" vacuum tube.
Technology. AAA+++

Can you explain the difference Pros/Cons between the DS 11 and the HEI options.

Good question.
I can pinpoint the curve more precise on the DS11. However limiting the total centrifugal requires welding or brazing.
I stay away from the Ford Duraspark Module, cause it does not run a full 12V.
I like the MSD-6al as a box cause MSD makes a harness MSD-8869 where you can direct connect the two. All you need is a coil with very low primary resistance. Be it a MSD Blaster 2 or 3. The best is the Ford TFI coil.
You can also use a GM module as a trigger, but it requires a lot of wiring.
The DUI for the small six is a piece of junk. It has a 2 piece housing which starves the shaft of necessary lubrication. Some came with a rotor which binds the centrifugal advance weights. Wiped distributor gears.
The HEI which i market is recurved for your application has none of these problems.
All you need is a relay to supply a strong 12 Volts to a one wire hookup. Also has a Tach connector wire.
Very popular since its a one wire deal.
I do believe the MSD with the multiple spark below 3000 rpms is a little smoother at lower speeds.
Its a toss up, i just installed a HEI in my 67 Mustang 6 & i am very pleased.
