The ferry should be scratched...I've crossed it many times and as fun as it is, it would be a problem for the number of cars we get....

Rain two years ago was way fun even with the puddle in Captain America's drivers side floor....I think that is fixed now, but we will be in my not yet finished 65 fastback this year and it leaks around the front windshield and the rear glass...So the cruise could be a wet one...I'll bring towels....

RAIN OR SHINE WE CRUISE

We can always wash the cars!

There is very little drinking at the Saturday dinner. Last year, after the dinner, we went back to the Knott's Resort and THAT's where the drinking started ... well, for everyone but me, as the waitress wouldn't serve me "because of my reputation" (thanks alot SACBILL! *lol*).

The dinner is open to everyone and is really a lot of fun. Don't feel like you can't attend just because some of us are older than your father

I didn't want to but the Nor Cal people still wanted to do it.
*LOL* You can't be scared of a little rain if you live in NorCal. Besides, our cars are going to be wet whether we cruise or not!

Matt, I have an extra wiper switch in my garage. I'll bring it to Knotts and bequeath it to you

Rain or shine indeed! Do you know what it's like in a convertible? Well, I guess I could put the top up this year. ::

Where exactly is the starting point for the cruise, by the way?

I have been watching the news weather forecasts and checking weather.com now for the last several days. Depending on who you believe, it will either rain Saturday or Sunday, both, or perhaps no rain at all :p. I am holding out and think that sunny SoCal will deliver!! Can't disappoint our fellow VMFers traveling from places afar.

Actually, a friend of mine will be bringing out his mostly correct 67 GT Fastback (390 w/a 4 speed) for the first time in six years. His brother is driving up from the San Diego area to ride with him. I hope his wipers work ::.
