You can't get "in" what exactly? Trying to ask the seller a question in the classifieds?

It sounds to me like he was a member that didn't update his email address and didn't receive the notification about changing his password last year. So he had to create a new username to "get back in".

Hard to say exactly but that sound like an excellent guess. Used to be a sticky up. hester, PM me your old username and the old email address you used to use (doesn't matter if it's dead) and I'll see if I can get you "back in".

GypsyR--this is Jerry. sorry didn't get back sooner been busy working on a 1998 mustang for daughter.
I was trying to ask question in classified. I agree I was not clear. I hit reply and it sends me page saying

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

my email is

same one since I joined.

I was able to ask question before so I'm puzzled.
If you can help thanks

Jerry

Have you ever posted? If not then you ran across a rule change that said you had to have a minimum number of posts to get into the classifieds. That was put in place to help protect us from scammers and spammers. Nobody likes it, but it works.
I can't believe you've never posted in all those years but all your info looks just fine. An exception to the rule has been made for you, full classifieds access. Ask away.
