New since 2013

My name is John and I have a 67 Coupe that we have had for about 11 years and we got it with plans to do a restomod. I had joined this forum back in 2013, but this is my first post. I joined when I finally got my mustang to our new home on the west coast, and thought I was going to be able to get into the project, but never really did. Family things and daily life (job changes, cross country moves, kids, and etc.) got in the way and just this spring my now 8 year old son and I are starting on the work. Now since we are knee deep into the project, I am spending more time on forums and collecting info/ideas, and also asking questions and sharing updates. So now I should be on here a little more often.

Here is my project right now.

John, welcome to VMF. Looking at the pics from your link I would check the cowl for any rust through since both front floors are rusted. I had a 68 GT Coupe back in the 80's & the cowl was rusted out. Your 67 Coupe looks like a nice project.

I will look at the cowl once I get things stripped down more. We plan on pulling the fenders and door glass this weekend, itís a slow process doing it with the kids and keeping them interested.
