FS: 1965 8" axle with 3.55 in DFW, $200

This is an 8" axle from a 65 coupe with a 3.55 open differential. It was rebuilt with new gears in 2006, but got parked that fall. I'm resurrecting the project and have upgraded to a 9". It includes leaf spring plates and u-bolts for the plates as well as parking brake cables. I recommend a brake rebuild.
Great for someone looking to upgrade from 4-lug.

Ford 9" rearend, with Detroit Locker

This was going to be an upgrade to my '69 Mustang restomod, but I never got around to it. This is all new, and the locker was professionally assembled.

Eaton Detroit Locker 71584, with Eaton gears and pinion, 3.55 ratio. Needs 31-spline axles.

The housing is the modern, heavy-duty C7AW-E casting, used on trucks and large cars.

It is the heavy-duty axle housing, with the small Ford flanges, and includes the U-bolts and Timken tapered roller bearings. The axle is 50 1/4", flange-to-flange.

Not pictured, but included, is a new driveshaft yoke.

Package deal: $1400

Locker only: $1300

Axle Housing only: $250

Looking for a pair of 1964 1/2 convertible door sill plates in any condition.

Always interested in any other 1964 unique parts as I have 3 1964 cars. I know there are other items that I need.

Thanks!
