Left 2 messages for him yesterday at his side job (old Ford parts) and his home. Have not heard back yet, but that doesn't surprise me. His shifts at the firehouse are very odd and he is virtually "incommunicado" when he is working.

I'll bet I hear from him this weekend.

Yes. Craig called me Saturday night and told me that the Mustang II rear had been sold (which I think we already knew) after he packed it up and took it home from the swap meet. Someone that had been to the swap meet had taken Craig's number and had decided to buy it later.

Anyway, Craig says he has at least 3 other 8-inch center sections in his shop and will look through them and get me the details. I told him you were specifically interested in 3.40 - 3.55 gearsets. Haven't heard back from him as yet, but, as we discussed, his hours are a bit strange.

Sorry this has proven to be so convoluted. The good stuff never come easy!

You're right, it's normally worth the wait. Keep me informed.

If has has more than one set of 3.55 gears I might be interested. I am looking for 3.55 for an 8" rear end. I am interested in the Ford gears because I have heard that gears from other manufacturers sometimes are loud in an 8" rear end. I don't really know all that much about this, which I hate to admit when I am considering a purchase. I am located in Denver, so shipping should not be an issue.

New to classic cars. 67 Coupe 289 2v.
