3 seconds, awesome. 3 minutes, terrible. Maybe it will stay at the faster speeds.

Maybe.

Well it hasn't been long AND the sysadmin(s) don't inform us when they make adjustments...Is it faster or is it just apparently faster due to less users, sun spots, etc.?

Why would we complain when itís running ok? Iíd think that would be obvious. But if you need to hear it for some strange reason....

The forum is running fine. Right now.

Better than yesterday when there were 9 registered members and 250 guests online. Right now there are 86 members and 529 guests. Something has changed, just sayin...

It's not apples to apples but CMF is lightening fast compared to VMF.

I have found that the site is running quite "normally" yesterday and today - knock on wood, fingers crossed.

Hopefully issues have been found and resolved by the sys admins

Human nature. When everything's going fine no one really notices or says anything. One screwup and it seems like no one will shut up about it or forget it. Anyone who's ever held pretty much any job anywhere should be well aware of this phenomenon.

As, I guess, the chief complainer since I posted this, I was not technically complaining but simply reporting a problem. I did finally get back on today and expressed my many thanks for whatever they did to fix this.
