Hello!

Hey guys and gals!
My name is Pete Sessler and I hail from central Florida. Been a part of online car forums since 2002 with my first car, my Avenger. Currently I am a member of many online forums: www.aseclub.net, www.vtcoa.com, www.viperclub.com and am Regional Vice President of Viper Owners Association www.driveviper.com. I have experience with auto mechanics and have performed several auto to manual swaps and engine swaps along with everything else involved in such an endeavor. I enjoy writing up "How To's" for forums whenever possible as I cant help but tinkering. I also do some metal fab and wood working in my workshop.

I currently own several cars and looking for a new project to build with my dad. My dad has written a couple dozen books on the Mustang (and about 60 others- same name as me- feel free to look it up) and we have owned several Mustangs in the past. Two 1969 Boss 429 Mustangs a 67 Shelby GT 350 convertible and a 70 Mach One. Sold them all years ago and only have the 73 Mark IV Lincoln left. Anyway, my dad is getting older and I want to build a project with him. Currently looking for a 1969 Mustang fastback rolling chassis and build a Boss 429 Clone. Cannot afford the real thing and would be scared to drive it anyway. I was very young when he had the Boss mustangs and i always remember how terrifying the cars were. The sound was maddening and lovely all at once. Ive been in contact with the gents over at Kasse engines and am going to go with a 460 block and likely stroked out to 600 cubes and use his updated Boss 9 heads. Possibly his fuel injection 8 stack manifold too. Looks insane!

My wife was never into cars when we got together. She drove my SRT10 Ram and started really loving low end torque... Then we got the Viper and after that she decided she wanted a Charger Hellcat. She's never driven a RWD car extensively and she found a 2005 Mustang GT with only 48k and we bought it. Now I cant pry her out of it! She'd rather drive that every day than her Maxima! Has the Hurst short throw, a flowmaster cat back, K&N intake, 20x9" wheels with Nitto Nt555 rubber a fiberglass cowl hood and she recently asked me for longtube headers for her birthday... (score what a gal!). Legendary Lime with black interior. Love the car. Surprisingly squirrely.

Anyway I wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to speaking with you guys and possibly having some local meets. If anyone has a 1969 Fastback Mustang rolling chassis for sale feel free to PM me.

Welcome Pete. Good luck in your search. I see '69 fastbacks from time to time on Craigslists. Of course most think they're gold. Once you do find one, be sure to start a build thread in the build forum, would love to watch and hear of your progress!!

Welcome, Pete.

I recognized your name immediately. I?ve had the Mustang Red Book since I was 16 (25ish years ago) and it is an essential resource.

I think it?s great that you?re getting back into the classic game. Your plans sound fun.

The anvil of reality.
