Firewall heat shield

I'm finally to the point of installing the heater box, wiring the car up and starting the engine. Should I out the heat shield and sound deadner before I so the heaterbox and fuse box?

4 ling years, 4 more and I'll be close to done

Yes... The pad is much easier to install with as much out of the way as possible.

69 Convertible, 351W, T5, E-Brock Performer 351-W intake, Performer Plus cam, Holley 4160, power assist, dual exhaust, 4-wheel manual drums.
