PSE Eleanor Wheels 17" GT40 how much are they worth?

I have a set of like brand new PSE Engineering Wheels in 17" for eleanor builds These rims were on a Mustang but never driven so like new. The rims are exactly what were on the gone in 60 seconds cars from the movie. Who can tell me how much they are worth I heard a lot of numbers but in fact that they are so rare I would like to know some numbers from enthusiasts like you. Thanks....

Since you're in Germany and the US is your best market for selling them, shipping costs will kill most deals. And it appears they are not rare at all but are readily available for purchase.

What is this 17" Std GT-40 they advertise as: This is std condition of the proprietary GT-40 wheel which was the actual piece on "Eleanor", any others are imitations only.

The wheels I saw sell used on the cobra forum were Phil Schmidt Engineering wheels, I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same company. I dont know if the price of $500 used is good or not, I just recall reading the topic and the discussion about availability due to the the company owner retiring.

I understand not wanting to take a loss on something But mostly I find things are only "worth" how much someone is willing to pay
Put them on an auction site with a reserve

Agreed. Especially for something with a relatively small audience. In this case, someone doing an Eleanor build thats willing to spend big for authentic wheels of a movie car.

The anvil of reality.

I don't quite get how they are "rare" when PSE is still making and selling the exact same ones. You CAN buy them and they ARE the same ones. Not sure where you got your information about them being discontinued but I believe it to be incorrect. PSE is now conjoined with Vintage Wheel Works. You can call either company to order the wheels.
