Missed it by 1 day! Aug 14th was the last "noted" day of 64 and Aug 15th was the 1st of 65's. There are a lot of 64 parts on these cars, as they were using whatever they had and, at that time, there was no 64/65 delineation. Mine is Aug 13th, C code with alternator but like yours, a batch of 64 parts were still used. Dearborn was the only plant using the 64 hood with the turned down lip. All other plants used 65 style, but you can see major differences- smaller indents under the hood, no holes for hood lip molding and look for the date code at the back on the driver's side. Having the battery cooling vents is a rarity. Alternators were added about 2 weeks before this date.
