How about the Rotunda headrests?

(no, seriously, don't use these. They are dangerous.)

My '67 Cougar came with them; the twin metal bars attached to a floppy roll of foam covered in vinyl were NOT a safety item. Even leaning your head back into it, you could feel the twin "L" shaped metal brackets poking forward into the sides of your skull and neck. I can't imagine how badly you'd get injured in an actual crash.

You can just barely make them out in this pic of me and my car, the day I got it:

My 65 came to me with a Rotunda compass screwed to the dash speaker grill. I quickly uninstalled it and threw it into the circular file. I still have a sticker in my glove box with directions on how to adjust it for accuracy.

I have a Jr. tissue dispenser I purchased for a whopping $5 at a swap meet about 15 years ago. It was NOS in the original box. I could not get the money out of my wallet fast enough. I also have a reproduction Rotunda compass mounted in my HT. Rotunda items are very cool. Do you collector their car cleaning products ? Dean

I have seen a whole bunch of the Rotunda car cleaning and maintenance accessories but I've rarely spent the money that it usually takes to get them. I currently live in a small home with not much storage space, can't really keep that stuff in a shed or in my trunk etc. and expect to preserve it. Most of the FoMoCo and Rotunda stuff I have was excellent used original, a few were in the boxes or package but not really suitable for display. I did put those few in a safe dry place. Of course, I would love to acquire more, just keeping my priorities in check while finishing some updating on this house, hopefully going to sell and build, or buy something that has all the features we need / want, including a place I can once again work and play out of the elements. I wouldn't pass up a good deal...

My '66 GT has a bunch of stuff on it. 8000 grand Rotunda tach, Bendix AM/FM, locking glovebox, accessory sill plates, cable trunk release, etc.
I never installed the Studiosonic reverb / rear speaker, but I have one of those NOS.

Thumbs Up Rotunda options

Some Ford Rotunda options and a few a after-market items- cigarette lighter map light, AM'FM, Rotunda throttle control, corral light, Roadster cover, 007 from valence with fog lights- like Ford used in the 007 fastback, I use aircraft landing lights! I like the gee-whiz stuff. I also have the air bag/helper springs for the rear that have never been installed.

I've got a Rotunda luggage rack carrier with box. I bought it from a guy that went around to Ford dealers and ask if they had any Ford parts up in the attic. It also had the dealers invoice too.
