#Projectcreep #whileimatit

It is real....
When I got this car, I was so happy because it was running and it wasnít super fancy... a driver.
It didnt have to be perfect.
Which is what I wanted...it was good enough!
Then the engine blew....
So now, the gauges are mismatched so I MUST HAVE all new autometer gauges so the dash is all apart. LOL

And while I have the engine out, I HAVE to degrease, clean, wire wheel, primer and paint...

I forgot how much of a pain in the butt this is.... wish I had a sand blaster, but that has its challenges.

I didnít want to have to tear it down this far.... but I just canít put a new engine in a horrible looking engine compartment....
Iím waiting on engine shop anyway. Iím guessing I have another 6 weeks if I had to guess.
The two performance shops here in Houston are WAAAAAY backed up.
