Mustang Fastback 1965 Colours?

Hi there, I wondered if someone could try and help me, I've been trying to look up on the internet what the original colours are for the 1965 Mustang Fastback and there seems to be lots of different colour charts, could anyone kindly advise me on the correct colours? Many thanks

Here's a good Data Plate decoder. A person could special order any factory color on their Mustang even if it wasn't an "official" Mustang color. Maybe there was a color that was only listed as available on a T'bird but it could be special ordered on a Mustang.

Also this chart will help I guess..
Those looks to be the 65 colors, but as Alan says, you could place a special color order so..

Also, keep in mind that sometimes Ford called the same paint color by different names. My 1970 Cougar is paint code #N. It was called Pastel Blue in that car and in that year. But on a Lincoln, it was Baby Blue Ice. Earlier in the 60s, it was Diamond Blue on Fords, but Platinum in Lincolns. In the 70's paint code #N had 3 different names that were the same color.

Ford code M0921

I looked at all of the colors Ford offered for the mustangs from 64.5-73. They had a few colors that stuck around but most years the colors seemed to change. For example I noticed that Brittany Blue was only offered on 67 and 68. Did they just discontinue unpopular colors?

Seems to be OK now. If I don't see any attached pics, I always think Our IT dept have tightened up the firewall (work laptop).

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing too. I still can't see pictures, and I'm on a personal device.

Guardsman Blue is a '64.5 only color. Except for GT350 stripes. And it's my fav color, only the new Lightning Blue comes close to being as good.

I can personally verify that Vintage Burgundy was a color on 1965 fastbacks. The first Mustang I ever rode in was a 1965 fastback. It was burgundy with a a slight off white, more of a cream interior and black carpeting. It was brand new.
