coat hook location

I had a new headliner installed in my 65 coupe. Is there an easy way to find where the original holes are for the rear coat hooks? I found the original holes for front mirror because I had a general idea where it went.

Garage
use your thumb and lightly push against the headliner almost straight up from where the side windows come together- you'll a slight indent and the hole. You can use a small pick or even a needle and push through to verify it's there..

Yeah, use a pick tool, but get close at least. In the future, put a screw in the hole before you put the headliner on. You can find the screw easy, and a small cut with a razor blade will expose it again. Same goes for the visor holes and the rear view mirror.

Before & after pics attached. This is on a '66. I think this should be the same on a '65.
