My 351C, Good combination?

I bought my 70' fastback a couple months back and this is what i am told is in the motor, trans and rear end. I was wondering what your opions are of this combination and possible HP, it seems to run strong, runs well and no issues so far.

Looks like a good combo, it should be a strong runner and be about 375~400hp.

I'm not familiar with that cam, but if it pulls strong without winding it to the moon, it should be fine.

A bigger rear gear would help the 4V heads, but a 3.55 is a good compromise.

Be careful with the FMX. It's easy to blow out second gear. I blew out the second gear in my '69 Cougar FMX with a warmed over 351W. A modified Cleveland could easily do that.

+1 Great estimate on power output. Somebody knew what they were doing. I would ony change the FMX to a lighter C4 but no "real" reason to do so if the trans works well.

If you can, try save up for a TKO. Then, if the FMX pukes, you can put in a 5-speed. I installed a TKO-600 in my '70 Mach 1. It bolted right in with no cutting. It was a lot of money all in, but boy is it worth it!

Yours gets me excited!

Iím building a stroker cleveland with a little more cam .245/.625 , 8injector super sniper, 10.5 compression. Extensively ported 4v heads with Rousch SVO intake.
Engine builder says 500+ easy at 6500 rpm.

He will dyno it with me to prove it.
Should be ready in next 10-14 days.
Iím beyond fired up.

Iím running a Powerglide with transbrake transmission for now, with 4.11 gears.....

Iím ready!
