Gt Style Bullet mirrors find with template

So I ran onto these mirrors on Ebay..just wanted share with you guys. They came with original 1975 Ford templates, I've noticed that there are several people that ask where to drill the holes? It also came with several other Ford model templates.. Comet, Falcon.. from the 60'S..Going to install these on my car over the weekend. I'll try to scan them and make a PDF file to share...

My 66 Fastback

I have that style on my 66 Fastback. PO warned me, you really can't see much out of 'em. He was right, I can't.

I replaced the bullet style on my '66 GT Fastback with the base style mirror for that exact reason. The field of view was terrible! I don't recall having to drill new holes when swapping them. I boxed the original up and put it on the shelf.

They offer just a suggestion as to what's behind you......

Rear view

I can actually see more from the rear view mirror than I can from the Talbot side view mirrors. Huge blind spots. I can see now why many put the Shelby quarter windows in their early Fastbacks.

You know when you go to the dentist and he takes that little mirror on a stick and puts it in your mouth to see your back teeth? Im pretty sure if I had one of those in my hand, and held it out the window, that I could see more out of that then I could out of my bullet mirrors.

Id say that might be a bit of a under-exaggeration...but they look really cool. I really do mean that too. I like them. Degree of usefulness or lack there of. They look good.

Why not? Do you want to sell them?
