Two Tone Paint on 1968 Hood

I have a 1968 GT 390 Fastback and I would like to know if these GT’s had the low gloss black stripes running up the turn signal flasher lovers all the way to the windshield.
I know that in ‘68 it was an option but I still am confused in which option group it fell into or if it was a separate option.
According to the Marti report my car came with the “GT EQUIPMENT GROUP” & “INTERIOR DECOR GROUP”. Do these stripes fall in any of these groups?
I would appreciate your feedback.
Thx

Apparently, According to Ford, The "Two-Tone" Hood Paint Stripes option could have been available (ordered) on any '68 Mustang car...as long as the car was already optioned with a Turn-Signal Hood...That was the "kicker"....

It certainly was a "Separate Option", but the Option could only be had if the car already had the "Turn Signal Hood" Option already.

Laurie S. on here who is a '67-'68 MCA Judge can chime in with better specifics.... I know that she is around here somewhere.....Laurie.... Where are you?!?!?!?...... Calling Laurie.....lol......

Welcome.

The GT and Interior Decor groups did not include the hood stripes.

As best as I can recall, the hood stripes were either:

1. A stand alone option which would have probably shown up on the Marti Report as "Two Tone paint" or "Paint Stripes", with a 2 character color code on the data plate with the 2nd character being "5", or

2. Part of a trim package that would have shown up on the Marti Report as "Sports Trim Group" or something similar.

Anyone have anything more definitive?

Separate option: Black-out hood treatment.
The paint code would be 2 digits such as the M5 that is on my son's 68. M=Wimbledon White 5=Black-out hood treatment.
Had nothing to do with GT status.
According to his Matri report only 8,067 68s came with the Black-out treatment.
It would have likely been labeled as on of the Exterior options like the Pin Stripe that was also available separately.

If you need it some where I have the measurements for the hood stripes.
