Idle minds, vacation, what ifs: fuel fill relocate

Amazing how a bit of down time lets the mind wonder (or is it wander?). Have thought it would be interesting to research relocating the fuel filler from the rear panel to the quarter panel on the hardtop. Ive done some searches in the past, and stumbled on a few good posts today. Looks like at least guy did it a few years ago.

I think Id be interested to setup a Le Mans style filler on the quarter. Or maybe just cut a hole in my deck lid and mount it there!

That works for a fastback, and even looks like MTF has a kit for it. For the hardtop, maybe that kit could be modded. I’d want it down on the quarter further.
