Bracket help! 3G 1-wire Alt from PA Performance

Does anyone know if the standard bracket works with this or do we need to use a different bracket?

PA Performance 1704, 130amp 3G

Thank you!
Matt

I seem to recall it fits the 95 amp no problem. For the 130 amp, lengthen the flat portion of the bracket by, I think, 3".

Looking at that photo, that alternator body is the same size as the 95 amp body. I'm basing this on the 4 holes inside each of the 3 spokes in the casting. The larger body has 2 holes. This is assuming I'm remembering correctly back when I got my 3g.

I believe that's a "Large Case" unit. You should have got a #1619 which should be a direct bolt in. Here's a link to an eBay ad for the bigger unit that talks about the modifications needed....

Rufus68 is correct about the holes in the casting.

That is the small case which should fit with no bracket mods.

Here is a small case for reference:

If you Google the alternator he references you see it shows.........
Applications: 1994-1995 5.0L V8 and 1994-2000 3.8L V6

He posted a picture and a part number. I am saying that picture is a small case. The same answer as posted earlier about castings.

Best thing to do is call PA in the morning.

Both the small case 95A and the 130A large case, share a 7" bolt spacing. There's also a large case with an 8 1/4" bolt spacing, it would probably need the extension.
The pic of the black alt, is a 95A, but the part # is a 130A
