15x8 et0 up front

Think they would fit? Charts say that's 4.5" backspace.

An et0 offset on an 8" wheel is 4.5" backspace. The 8" wheel width is measured from inner bead to inner bead. Backspacing is measured from the extreme rim edge though. So an 8" wheel is really 9" outer edge to outer edge. Half of that is 4.5" and also et0. Offset and backspace are just two different ways of saying the same thing.

That being said, I believe an 8"/4.5 on fronts may interfere with some UCA's if more than a modicum of negative camber is attempted during alignment.

I see.

It looks like the chart I've been using accounts for that inch:

I'm currently running 15x7 et0 all around, with 1.25" spacers in the rear (shortened explorer rear end)

Ideally I would like to run the same size up front again and 15x8 or 15x9 in the rear with a lot of negative offset so maybe not need spacers.

Problem is I'm picky on wheels

Are you gonna paint the wheels, or leave them white?

347ci that has a lot of neat stuff in it
T5 manual trans, alum driveshaft, 9" w/3.70 gears
Suspension parts from SoT, Global West, Maier Racing, and a few others. Works for me!
TCP manual rack (love it)
EPAS (Love this the most)
VWW V45 wheels (like these too)
SoT 13" brakes (stopping is good)
And I finally got a paint job!

Keeping them white for now. I painted the lettering on the center caps the same blue as the car, and I've been thinking of doing an orange pinstripe around the lip. Also, the front center caps didn't fit so I 3D printed a couple adapter rings.

I think those orange pinstripes would be a nice touch.

Looks good bud.
